J\u2019laiya Regan, a Las Vegas native, began as a self taught pianist and later studied at Prairie View A&M University where she earned her Bachelor\u2019s degree in General Music studies with a concentration in piano. At just 14 years old, J\u2019laiya could play by ear. As she progressed, she soon became a flautist and began to read music. Though she plays numerous of instruments, her first love in music is songwriting. She has competed in a song writing competition judged by Jordin Sparks where she won 2nd place. J\u2019laiya is also a producer, vocalist, and vocal producer. She\u2019s written and produced for underground artists all over the country. J\u2019laiya, also known as Jayree, is an artist herself. In 2020 She released her first song CTRL Z followed by No Love Between Us in 2021.
